This year, PTS Diagnostics committed to providing professional development and learning opportunities. The first opportunity offered this year was the Purdue University Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) certification program.

We appreciate the dedication and excellence each member of the PTS MEP class has demonstrated over the past several months. It was an enormous undertaking, but each member was able to complete and receive Purdue certifications in Electrical Principles and Troubleshooting, and Quality Skills Training!

PTS Benefit Highlights

Don’t Forget Your Flu Shot

The flu vaccine has been found to reduce one’s risk of getting the flu illness up to 60% according to the CDC. September and October are ideal months in which to get a flu vaccine since it has been found immunity lasts well into the later months of the flu season.

You can get a no-cost flu shot through your PTS medical insurance plan. (Flu shots are preventative vaccines that are 100% covered.) See your physician, or search for local clinics that offer the vaccine through your Anthem portal.

If you don’t carry PTS medical insurance, VaccineFinder is a helpful website that can help you locate clinics and pharmacies that offer vaccines and schedule an appointment.

Healthy Rewards

As a reminder, Healthy Rewards is a $100 gift card for completing an annual physical exam for yourself and/or spouse enrolled in PTS medical plans. An annual physical is covered under PTS medical plans at 100% under preventative.  

To participate in the Healthy Rewards, please have your primary care provider complete the wellness exam verification form and submit to HR to receive the incentive. This form can be found on the HR SharePoint site under the Benefits tab.

2020 Virtual Heart Walk

The Heart Walk is the American Heart Association’s premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country’s No. 1 and No. 5 killers – heart disease and stroke. Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Heart Walk creates an environment that is fun and rewarding for the entire family.
